Differentiated instruction allows teachers to use methodology and resources to deliver information on a more individual basis. We share the belief that all students have a desire to learn and be successful. Student learning is strongest when they see a direct connection to future life situations. Teachers provide appropriate levels of challenge to all learners at any learning level. Content is presented in multiple formats, in variable settings, and includes multiple formative assessment opportunities to show student growth.
Middle School Science teacher, Sara Heitz, explains in class activity based upon student choice.
Teachers and Leaders collaborating on professional developmentMrs. Kuhse and her 7th Grade FCS class go through the process of making an eTextile monster for the very first time. Students were given the choice of project type and creation and given time to problem solve collaboratively.
